This image is part of my Still Life series—an exploration of the tension between the organic and the artificial. Here, a flower head—soft, muted, almost ghostlike—hangs gently from the mechanical arm. The composition blurs the line between nature and tool, body and structure. I was drawn to the quiet melancholy in this pairing: the flower is heavy with grace, while the arm holds it in place, like a prosthetic reaching for tenderness. It’s a portrait of support, of weariness, of coexistence. Shot in a desaturated haze, the image feels like a memory half-remembered. Even here, in this hybrid stillness, everything dances.
