My first short film.

“After a long conversation with the top producers at Factory International, we wanted to find a way to promote Find Your Eyes without giving too much away. I came up with a treatment inspired by Jim Jarmusch’s Ghost Dog. So, Leah Rudolfo and I worked on it together, setting it in dope locations around Manchester. It turned out so good that we ended up with enough material for a short film, which I directed and produced with Alex Mannion-Jones, DOP Rhys Fagan. Music Konny Kon. In the end, it got picked up by NOWNESS, and it’s streaming now. Sometimes, you just can’t write this magic.

“My images often dance between ancient spiritual archetypes and the raw energy of urban life – pulling mythology into the now. Find Your Eyes was a deep dive into my own lived experience. Through photography, movement, and theatre, I searched for a visual language to hold vulnerability, to honour pain, and to celebrate the power of survival.” - Benji Reid
